First Visit Expectations

01 Get to Know Your Child

We will first get to know your child by asking some questions about their medical and oral health history. Please bring a list of any medications they may be taking and their dosages, including vitamins and over-the-counter supplements. 

Please note that a legal parent or guardian must accompany your child to their first visit. For any subsequent cleanings or exams, minors may attend alone only if prior notarized parental consent is provided.

02 Exam

We will then perform a comprehensive oral exam, which includes evaluating your child’s bite, providing age-appropriate nutritional counseling, reviewing proper home care techniques, and taking x-rays if necessary. We will also chart any existing dental restorations.

Your child will receive a professional cleaning during their appointment with one of our hygienists.

03 Dental Plan

Once your child's examination is complete, our team will go over the findings and discuss our financial options.

Together, you will create a treatment plan to help your child achieve and maintain optimal oral health. We want your child’s visit with us to exceed every expectation, so please ask any questions and offer any suggestions you have!
